Step by step instruction

  1. Create a course in Linqur. Tutorial here.
  2. Add a SCORM package. Tutorial here.
  3. Add a Legacy LTI tool in Linqur.

After creating your course and adding a SCORM, go to the course and open the "LTI tools" page. Here you select "Add LTI tool".

  4. Give your tool a name, select Legacy LTI and select your added SCORM package. When done click on the "Add tool" button.

  5. After adding the tool, you will be redirected to the "Tool details" page. This holds all the details you need to connect to this tool with an external Docebo platform. Look for the "Launch details" section. This is the information you need to connect to this tool.

Everything is now set-up on the Linqur side, this tutorial will continue with a step by step instruction on how to set up your Docebo platform to connect to the created LTI Legacy tool.
  6. Log-in to your Docebo platform and as a Superadmin go to Admin menu > Course management. In "Course management" we must create a course by clicking the plus button (create) top-right > "New course". Give your course a title, description and optionally you can add the course to a category.

When done, select "Create and edit" in the bottom-right of the screen.
  7. Now that we created a course we can add the LTI tool. Navigate to the "Training material" tab of the course. Select "Add training material" > "Import LTI".

  8. To complete this step, you will need the Launch details from Linqur (step 5). Please follow these instructions:

    Enter a title and description.

Below that, provide the following details:

Launch URL: Input the Launch URL provided by Linqur.

Consumer Key: You can use any random value (e.g., "abc123").

Secret: Enter the secret provided by Linqur.

These are the mandatory settings, you can also set options for Privacy, completion and View mode.
    Privacy
If you want to share the name or e-mail with Linqur you can select the checkboxes in the privacy section.
    Completion
If the e-learning set up on Linqur has completion set up you can select "After receiving feedback from the external tool *", and set a minimum score to trigger completion.
    View mode
The view mode is how the e-learning will launch, we recommend using a new window, but any option will work.

When you finished setting up the tool, select "Save changes" bottom-right.
  9. Now all we we need to do is publish the course. Select the "Properties" tab in the course, and on the bottom of the page set the course to "Published".

After select "Save changes" and the course will be published.
  10. You can test the connection by logging in with a normal user. Make sure this user is enrolled in the course we just created. As the learner select the course and click on "Start learning now" or select the LTI tool directly.
  11. Depending on the way you set up the tool the e-learning will load.

  12. If the e-learning set up on Linqur has completion you can check if this is set up correctly by finishing the e-learning and check if the grade gets passed to Linqur and Docebo.

    Docebo

The user can see their grade in the "My activities" section.
